TRAINING SHIPS.
With the exception of 26 cases of Measles which occurred on the
"Worcester" during February, the training ships have been exceptionally
free from infectious disease during the year; only two cases of Diphtheria
and two of Scarlet Fever were reported. This freedom of infectious disease
appears to be noticeable with regard to the "Warspite," a vessel which, when
moored in the River at Charlton, was repeatedly subject to epidemics of
Diphtheria. No cases of this disease appeared on the ship during the past
year. Only one case of an infectious nature occurred.

The following cases of infectious disease were reported during the year:—
