manner in which he carries out his duties, that we should be authorized to
take the said communication into our consideration and we accordingly
recommend the same to your Honourable Court.
As stated in our Reports, agreed to by your Honourable Court, great
advantage has been found from having a Medical Officer to take charge of
the Hospital at Gravesend, and as Mr. Philip Whitcombe continues to perform
his duties in a most satisfactory manner we are of opinion that his services
should be retained for the same period as the other officers, and that we should
be authorized to re-appoint him accordingly at his present rate of remuneration,
viz. : Two hundred Guineas for one year.
All which we submit to the judgment of this Honourable Court. Dated
this fourth day of February, 1890.
