SEWER RAT CONTROL
The level of infestation of the Borough's sewerage system by rats
continues to be low* An examination carried out following the 1963
programme of treatment with flucracetamide indicated a marked reduction
in the rat population of the sewers. During July a test bait indicated
small infestations in four areas. Treatment was carried out in September.
82 manholes were treated and bait was taken in 17 manholes.
