In conclusion, it is pleasing to recall the many Aldermen and Councillors
who have come and gone over twenty-five years, many of whom have
been members of the Public Health Committee, and have shown a very
keen interest in the work of the Department. The happiest of relationships
have always existed both with members of the Council and other staffs,
without which this record of progress could not have been written.
