INDUSTRIAL PREMISES
During the year observations were made on the chimneys of Industrial
premises. It is felt that since the Clean Air Act was passed a considerable
improvement has been effected, both from the point of view of the
density of smoke and the periods of emission of smoke, from the chimneys
of this class of buildings.
The Public Health Inspectors advised when consulted, on the heights
of new chimneys and new furnaces to be installed.
