REGULATED TRADES: DAIRIES
There are six dairies on the register but no loose milk was handled
at the premises.
During the year 27 visits of inspection were paid and conditions found
to be satisfactory.
MILK (SPECIAL DESIGNATION) REGULATIONS
During the year the Council granted the following number of dealers'
licences under the above-mentioned regulations:
Tuberculin Tested 21
Pasteurised 22
Sterilized 29
SLAUGHTERHOUSES
There are no Slaughterhouses in use within the district.
BAKEHOUSES
There are twelve bakehouses in the district. Fifty-two inspections
were carried out, and in three instances defects were found to exist.
