AMBULANCE FACILITIES.
Ceneral and Accident Cases. The arrangements following prewar
practice, which came into operation in 1945, continued to operate
successfully during 1946. The National Fire Service continued to house
the one ambulance in use and the four full-time personnel at the
National Fire Service Station in Belmont Road.

NURSING IN THE HOME.
This service is undertaken mainly by the staff of the Beddington
and Wallington District Nursing Association and their work in the
Borough is greatly appreciated.
During the year the District Nurses attended 1,104 cases, including
102 maternity and 133 midwifery patients.
