INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
MILK.
During the year the following number of samples of milk was
taken within the district and examined bacteriologically in the laboratory of the Corporation's Public Health Department:—

Graded Milk. The sample of Tuberculin Tested milk examined
was found up to standard, satisfying the prescribed methylene blue
reduction test.
Of the 84 cases of Pasteurised milk examined, five exceeded
the 100,000 bacteria per millilitre allowed by the Milk (Special
Designations) Regulations.
