MILK (SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS) REGULATIONS.
During the year the Council granted the following number of
licences under the above-mentioned Regulations:—
Tuberculin Tested 11
Pasteurised 11
SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
There is only one Slaughterhouse within the district, this being
licensed annually. No animals were slaughtered on the premises
during the year.
BAKEHOUSES.
There are 12 Bakehouses in the district. The premises were
visited periodically. Unsatisfactory conditions were found to exist
in 4 instances.
OTHER FOOD PREPARING PLACES.
During the year 781 visits were paid to other food preparing
places within the district. The conditions found were generally
satisfactory.
FACTORIES.
The following tables give details of inspections made and defects
found, as supplied by the Senior Sanitary Inspector:—
