MILK (SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS) ORDERS.
During the year the Council granted the following number of
licences under the above-named Orders:—
Tuberculin Tested11
Accredited 1
Pasteurised 11
SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
There is only one Slaughterhouse within the district, this being
licensed annually. No animals were slaughtered on the premises
during the year.
BAKEHOUSES.
There are 13 Bakehouses in the district. The premises were visited
peripdically. Unsatisfactory conditions were found to exist in 4
instances.
OTHER FOOD PREPARING PLACES.
During the year 885 visits were paid to other food preparing
places within the district. The conditions found were generally
satisfactory.
FACTORIES.
There are 90 Factories in the district.
