Tipping on land belonging to the Croydon Corporation and at
the rear of the existing tip was commenced in 1939 and is now
completed.
The Croydon Corporation commenced tipping in the latter part
of the year on a site in the Borough north of Therapia Lane. This
work is continuing satisfactorily and is under constant supervision
by the Council's Officers.
SANITARY INSPECTION OF THE AREA.
The following statement by the Senior Sanitary Inspector gives
statistics as to the number of complaints received, inspections made,
defects remedied, and other work carried out by the Sanitary
Inspectors.
