This part of the district, while retaining some of the old-world
associations inseparable from such places as Beddington Corner and
Beddington Village, includes Beddington Park and the Croydon
Sewerage Works.
Some fine open spaces are to be found in various parts of the
district, and much credit is due to the forethought and imagination
which has prompted their development in recent years, and which,
while robbing the beauty spots of none of their natural charm, has
made them more accessible and hence more appreciated by the general
public.
