The following table shows the number of families which were in receipt of assisted milk supply under the Council's scheme during the year:—

In addition, in certain cases, concentrated foods or drugs are provided
free or at reduced price. Further, when in the opinion of the
Medical Officer of Health it is considered necessary, infant foods are
supplied to mothers at cost price.
HEALTH VISITINC.
Two full-time Health Visitors, who work under the supervision of
the Medical Officer of Health, are employed.
