TUBERCULOSIS.
The treatment of cases of Tuberculosis is under the control of the
Surrey County Council, who provide both sanatorium and dispensary
treatment.
The two dispensaries available for residents of the Borough are
situated at Mitcham and Carshalton, the sessions being held as
follows:—
Mitcham (London Road J.B. School): —
First, third and fifth Tuesday of month at 1.30 p.m.
Each Thursday at 1 p.m. and third Saturday at 1.30 p.m.
Carshalton (Rochester Road):—
Every Friday at 10 a.m.
Second Saturday at 2.0 p.m.
IMMUNISATION ACAINST DIPHTHERIA.
The scheme, commenced in 1937 for the immunisation of children
against Diphtheria, continued satisfactorily throughout 1939.
