During the year she has paid the following number of
visits:—

MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE.
Four Maternity and Child Welfare Centres have been
established by the Council, and a large amount of useful
work has been done.
The Medical Officer in Charge is the Medical Officer of
Health, who attends each Centre once a month.
Infant foods are supplied at the Centres at cost price to
mothers where this has been necessary. These foods are only
supplied on the recommendation of the Medical Officer.
An agreement is in force with the Carshalton Memorial
Hospital whereby special treatment is obtainable for children
needing it, and during the year 11 children have attended
this Hospital. Two children received treatment at other
Institutions.
The following are the Centres, together with the times
of Sessions:—

Fortnightly. Second and fourth Wednesday
in each month.
Wesleyan Hall, Sandy Lane
Fortnightly. First and third Tuesday in
each month.
Hackbridge Methodist Hall
Fortnightly. Second and fourth Tuesday
in each month.
Village Hall, Beddington
First Monday in each month.
