It is obvious that no useful statistics can be compiled from
these data, because the necessary factors are absent. The
persons occupying the beds in Common Lodging-houses are
migratory in their habits, and although they are often belonging
to other Districts, when illness overtakes them, their natural
destination as shown above, is the Union Infirmary.
