heading, viz.: scarlet-fever. For some years past these diseases have been recorded under separate headings.
‡ Ths deaths from scarlet-fever during this year were 18 and from diphtheria 21. In London, the deaths from scarlet-fever were
1989, and from diphtheria 951.
