* The Spitalfields Medical District embraces the whole of the Parish of Christchurcb, the Liberty of the Old Artillery Ground, and Norton Folgate. It contains
portions of the Registration Districts of Artillery, Spitalfields, and Mile End New Town.
† The Mile End New Town Medical District embraces the whole of the Hamlet of Mile End New Town. In this District is situated the Spitalfields Workhouse,
and comprises portions of the Artillery, Spitalfields, and Whiteehapel North Registration Districts.
‡ The Whiteehapel Medical District embraces all that portion of Whiteehapel Parish which is to the East of the centres of Osborn Street and Church Lanek
and contains portions of the Whiteehapel North, Whiteehapel Church, and Mile End New Town Registration Districts, and also the Whiteehapel Workhouse.
|| The Goodman's Fields Medical District is the most populous, and embraces the remaining portion of Whiteehapel Parish, the Parishes of Lower Aldgate,
Trinity Minories, the Tower, and St. Katharines. In this District are comprised portions of the Whiteehapel North, Whiteehapel Church, the whole of the Goldman's
Fields and Aldgate Registration Districts.
