Diphtheria
The following statistics refer to immunisation carried out during
the year;
Number of children immunised during the year
(pre-school 523, school 17) 540
Number of children receiving reinforcing doses 826
Par the 16th year in succession the district was completely free
frcm this disease, the last case having been notified in April, 1947.
The following graph shows the rate per 1,000 of the estimated resident
population in averaged 5 yearly periods from 1899.
