was 0.07 as compared with the rate for England and Wales of 0.10.
23 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were notified, 7 less thai
in 1957.
At the end of the year the following numbers of cases were
suffering from the disease and living in the district, the total being
22 less than the previous year.
