SANITARY ADMINISTRATION.
ANNUAL REPORT
of
THE SANITARY INSPECTOR
1941
Public Health Department,
Municipal Offices,
New Malden.
To The Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the pleasure to submit my twenty-second
annual report of work accomplished and matters of
interest concerning the Sanitary Department.
Once again, in view of the exceptional circumstances,
this will necessarily be greatly curtailed. Many items
which usually appear are omitted altogether.
For the purpose of abating nuisances, and executing
repairs to render houses fit for human habitation, the
following notices were served:—
Preliminary. Formal.
Notices served 85 15
Complied 70 12
Remaining outstanding 15 3
It was not necessary to institute legal proceedings
for the abatement of nuisances or other sanitary matters.
SCABIES.
A good deal of time has been spent and many visits
paid in connection with the treatment of persons suffering
from scabies.
