All three samples of pasteurised milk which failed to

AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS.
In common with other Departments of the Council a
very considerable amount of time has had, unfortunately,
to be given to this work. When the War is brought to a
successful conclusion a full report may then be given of
these activities and no more, therefore, need be stated at
this juncture.
It may be stated, however, with some pride that the
ordinary work of the department, although curtailed, has
gone on in all its essential details and whilst some minor
routine matters have had to be abandoned, all those necessary
for the maintenance of good sanitation and public
health have been kept at a high level.
I am,
Mr. Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors,
Your obedient Servant,
HENRY TUNBRIDGE,
Sanitary Inspector.
