In addition one sample of bleach ointment and one of
sausage skins were submitted for analysis.
One informal sample of milk was certified to contain
2 per cent, of added water and this led to the taking of
13 formal samples in course of delivery from the producers
to the retailer. Six churns from one producer were
sampled and seven from another.
The results of the analyses in regard to these samples
were as follow:—
No. 102 Deficient in solids other than milk fat, the deficiency
corresponding to the presence of 2% of added water.
