Smallpiece of the A.R.P. Department.
With the outbreak of War the whole Department was
mobilised to deal with the problems arising therefrom, and
for some time little other work could be done except that
of assisting and co-operating with the Medical Officer of
Health in the organisation of the casualty services for
the Borough.
