(a) NOTIFIABLE INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
Diphtheria.
There were 39 cases of Diphtheria notified, as compared
with 52 for the previous year. With few exceptions
the type of disease was mild. There were no deaths.
Scarlet Fever.
The number of cases of Scarlet Fever notified was 29,
as compared with 37 for the previous year. There were no
deaths.
Enteric Fever.
Two cases of Enteric Fever were notified, and
admitted to Mogden Isolation Hospital. Both cases
occurred in the same household.
