It will be seen from the foregoing tables that during
the year 1935, twenty cases of tuberculosis were notified
and nineteen deaths recorded from this disease. Nonnotified
tuberculosis deaths—cases not notified as tuberculosis
and not recorded in the registers of the Department
during life—were responsible for 21 per cent. of the
total tuberculosis deaths.
The Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis)
Regulations, 1925.
It was not necessary to take any action under the above
Regulations regarding persons suffering from tuberculosis
and employed in the Milk Trade.
The Public Health Act, 1925, Section 62.
No action was taken under this Section, which is
concerned with the compulsory removal to a Hospital of
persons suffering from tuberculosis.
