One House-fly may cause the Death
of a Child.
Every effort should be made
to exterminate the House-fly.
On no account should flies be allowed access
to any food or drink. Keep it covered up.
Keep all Stable and House refuse
in covered receptacles and do not
allow it to accumulate.
Paraffin keeps flies away, and should be
used in small quantities for cleaning windows
and polishing furniture. Carbolic Lotion is
also good.
The disinfectant Formalin is very good.
Two teaspoonfuls should be added to a pint of
water or milk and water, slightly sweetened and
poured into saucers or plates placed about the
shop.

Teddington.
