Legal proceedings were taken against an owner who
failed to comply with a notice under the Public Health
Act, 1875, the premises being in such a state as to be a
nuisance or injurious to health.
The case was adjourned seven days upon the owner
promising to do the work. As the notice was not then
complied with the Court ordered the works to be done and
allowed costs.
The owner wrote asking the Council to execute the
work for him.
