GENERAL MEDICAL SERVICES
During the year the medical staff carried out 667 medical examinations
of staff for superannuation purposes. Five examinations were
also carried out on staff, absent from work owing to sickness, to
ascertain their fitness to return to duty.
VENEREAL DISEASES
The table below is compiled from figures supplied by the clinics
at St. Helier Hospital, Carshalton, and Croydon General Hospital.
No figures are available from other clinics in the London area.
