5.—Venereal Diseases. The County Council administers the
Venereal Diseases Regulations and participates in the London
and Home Counties Scheme. Under this arrangement treatment
is available at the principal London Hospitals. The
sessions are numerous and in some cases continuous, whilst
many of these institutions provide in-patient as well as outpatient
treatment.
