Employment Agencies
The one employment agency in the district was visited and found to
be satisfactory.
Shops Act, 1950
The Public Health Inspectors act as Inspectors for purposes of the
Shops Act. There are 500 shops on the register and 2878 visits of inspection
were made during the year. Opportunity was taken at a number of
these visits to inspect for other statutory purposes, such as the Food
and Drugs Act.
