Tuberculosis
The new cases admitted to the tuberculosis register during the year
numbered 54 classified as follows: —

Of the total additions, 21 were primary notifications, 31 were transferred
from other districts and 2 came to notice in other ways.
In the same period, 141 names were removed from the register for
the following reasons:—

Death 11
Otherwise (including removals) 44
After allowing for the additions and deductions, the state of the
register at the 31st December, 1960, was as shewn in the following
table:—
