Nineteen thousand, three hundred and fifty-seven visits were made
concerning 1,395 properties and 351 rat and mouse infestations were
found. Of that number, 306 were found in private premises, 30 in
business premises and 15 in Council premises.
The results are shown in the following table, together with those of the three previous years:

Swimming Baths
The only swimming bath in the district was acquired by the Council.
The arrangements for the satisfactory control of these facilities have
been reviewed.

Nine inspections of offices were made but no action was necessary.
