Erysipelas.
Three cases were notified of infection of the face. Sulphonamides
and the new anti-biotics have considerably shortened the attacks in this
disease and robbed it of most of its severity.
Pneumonia.
Cases of primary and influenzal pneumonia notified totalled 54,
of which 28 were stated to be influenzal. More than half occurred
in the' first two months of the year.
