The sampling of Ice Cream was carried on and the following table gives the results:—

Meat and Other Foods.
Meat is supplied from the Ministry of Food depots outside the
district. There are 21 premises on which pigs are known to be kept.
There was no private slaughtering during the year.
Twenty-six other foodstuffs were submitted for bacteriological
examination in cases of suspected food poisoning. The tests which gave
significant results are referred to in the Section of this Report dealing
with food poisoning.
