Schools.
Having in mind war damage and the suspension of normal
maintenance work, the sanitary conditions of the schools was fairly
satisfactory. Many of the present improvisations, particularly in
connection with school meals, need to be replaced by permanent
and satisfactory arrangements, including adequate accommodation for
this service. Redecoration in the schools, as in many homes, is long
overdue.
