The total food condemned was:—
Swine : 8 carcases and offal.
2 heads.
1 lung.
2 livers.
Fish : 5 stone of whiting.
60 lbs. cod fish.
The Slaughter of Animals Acts, 1933.—Three persons were
licenced to act as slaughtermen and every step has been taken to
ensure that all animals slaughtered in the District have been
slaughtered in accordance with the Act.
Ice Cream.—There are 60 premises trading in ice-cream
but only in three is ice cream actually manufactured.
All premises and ice cream vehicles were periodically inspected.
Bakehouses.—There are seven bakehouses within the District.
All were visited and found to have complied with the require
ments in respect of cleansing and whitewashing.
