FOOD PREPARING FACTORIES
There are fourteen factories which are engaged in the manufacture and
preparation of food products. All of these are systematically visited.
INFORMAL ACTION TAKEN UNDER THE FOOD HYGIENE
(GENERAL) REGULATIONS. 1960
Number of notices served, sixteen. Number of notices complied with, sixteen.
PIGGERIES
There are three piggeries in the Borough. Fifty-seven visits were paid
during the year.
PET ANIMALS ACT. 1951
Four licences were issued to occupiers of pet shops, one on a change of
proprietor.
