Removal to Suitable Premises of Persons in Need of Care and

for the removal of the person concerned to a Geriatric Unit for an
initial period of three weeks. Subsequently the person agreed to
remain in hospital and a renewal order was not required.

WATER SUPPLY
Except for eight houses in Goat Road, supplied by the Sutton
Water Company, the whole of Mitcham is supplied by the Metropolitan
Water Board. A few factories have an additional supply from
deep wells.
There are five licensed caravan yards, each with a stand pipe,
supplying altogether a total of 21 caravans.
The standard of purity of the water was maintained at the usual
high level. There is no record in the Borough of any case of infectious
disease being transmitted by water.
