All ponds and ditches in the Borough where mosquito breeding
was possible were sprayed with insecticide twice during the
year. Twenty-six visits were paid for this purpose.
Legal Proceedings.—Nine applications were made to the
Justices for Nuisance Orders against property owners under
Section 94, Public Health Act, 1936. The results were as
follows:—
Seven summonses were dismissed with costs, as works were
completed before the hearing of the summonses.
Two summonses with costs were adjourned for one month
for completion of works.
