Deaths
During the year 580 deaths were registered, of which 318
were males and 262 were females, as compared with 716 deaths
last year.
The death rate for the year was equal to 11.06 per 1,000 of
the population, as compared with 11.8 per 1,000 in 1940.
The death rate for England and Wales was 12.9 per 1,000
civilian population for the year 1941, and 14.3 per 1,000 for 1940.
