It is regretted that the vacancy caused by the resignation of Miss Spooner, who
worked in Tottenham, had not been filled at the end of the year. The district health
visitor, because of the many demands on her time, is not able to give the constant
supervision required by the families.
Of considerable importance is the help given by local and national voluntary
agencies. This help, in the form of clothes, money, holidays, Christmas gifts and
parties, is of great assistance in the rehabilitation of problem families. Once again
we wish to record our appreciation for all the help we have received during the year.
