Establishments for Massage and Special Treatment
At the 31st December, 1955, 10 licences were in force in the
Borough.
Periodic visits are made to these establishments by the
Deputy Medical Officer of Health to ensure that they are properly
conducted and that the bye-laws are complied with.
Medical Examination of Staff
During the year 91 candidates were examined for purposes of
the superannuation scheme. 7 persons failed to pass the examination.
13 employees were examined in connection with the sick pay
scheme.
