Whooping Cough
During the year 139 notifications of this disease were
received. In the case of one baby girl aged 10 months the illness
proved fatal.
Free whooping cough vaccination is available at all County
Council immunisation clinics. Further details on this subject
will be found in my report as Area Medical Officer which is
printed as an appendix to this report. (See page 93).
