CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
Notifiable Diseases (other than Tuberculosis).
The number of notifications of infectious disease, excluding
Tuberculosis, was 1,930 (see Table IV).
Infectious Diseases Hospitals.
The Agreement with the Southgate Borough Council, made in
January, 1934, in respect of the maintenance of Tottenham cases of
infectious disease in the Southgate Isolation Hospital, was
terminated on the 31st December, 1946, when the hospital was
taken over by the Middlesex County Council for auxiliary maternity
bed accommodation.
