We were very sorry to lose the Senior Dental Officer, Mr. S.M. Young, In March and
as his successor, Mr. P. Chandler, whom we welcome, did not come until two weeks before the
end of the year, he could not be expected to comment on any aspect of the Service or on the
statistics which are given in the appendix on pages 116, 117.
