REPORT OF THE PUBLIC ANALYST

During the year 1946, 1058 samples were examined under
the Food and Drugs Act, 731 formal and 327 informal.
All samples were submitted by the Inspector.
No samples were submitted by the Public under the Act.
Six samples were found to be adulterated, five formal and
one informal. This is at the rate of 0.6 per cent.
The adulteration in the Borough lor the past ten years was as follows: —
