As a matter of public health importance it may be of
interest to include the numbers of patients who were found to
be suffering from Early Infective Syphilis and Gonorrhoea.
The Year 1945—
Early Syphilis 18 (6 men, 12 women)
Gonorrhoea 54 (20 men, 34 women)
The balance of these figures was made up of venereal cases
in the later or non-infective phases, and of those in whom no
venereal disease was found.
