At the end of the year 39 cases were under treatment at this sanatorium, and an analysis of these showed the following types of cases—

It will be observed that the proportion of observation cases
is high, and if this ratio continues it may be necessary to review
the uses to which the institution is put. In this way it might be
possible to utilize the sanatorium for types of cases for which there
is at present difficulty in obtaining beds.
