Staff Illness.
One nurse who was Dick positive contracted scarlet fever
before immunisation was commenced. Another nurse contracted
mumps.
During the year 21 nurses and maids were warded with
tonsillitis, and 9 with influenza; 35 others were off duty for short
periods with minor ailments. All recovered.
